BSX finishes week up

Bermuda Container Line was the biggest gainer, rising 11 percent in value to $4.50, surpassing its 52 week high of $4. Argus Insurance was the biggest loser, falling by about seven percent to $15.

This week, the BSX announced a new class of membership aimed at law firms, accounting firms, fund managers, trust companies and other service providers to mutual funds. Members under the new category will be able to sponsor new listings of mutual funds, Eurobonds, depository receipts and secondary listings. This class of membership will not have trading privileges.

Previously the only category of membership available was as a full trading member. The BSX has nine trading members. The BSX currently has 105 listed funds.
