A reception will be held in the international departure lounge just after the MD80 jet touches down -- expected to be around 3.45 p.m.
Transport Minister Ewart Brown will welcome the first flight, accompanied by new Director of Tourism Richard Calderon, airport General Manager Marshall Minors, and Director of Civil Aviation Ian McIntyre.
A Government spokesman said a senior official from the airline is expected to travel to the Island to take part in the arrival ceremony.
TWA plan to operate two flights a week -- Mondays and Fridays -- from today to the end of September.
