Company's broadcast will give insight into improving business document
A Maryland-based management company's broadcast will offer insight into improving business document management, according to the site facilitator.
Mr. Milton Darrell, overseeing the live via satellite AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management) broadcast said it will be shown Wednesday, November 9 at Stonington Beach Hotel.
"This programme will include live presentations, panel discussions, high-tech graphics, video site tours and simulated situations. The audience will have an opportunity to actively participate and as speakers questions,''said Mr.
Darrell, associated with AIIM.
"To remain competitive, more and more companies are re-engineering business processes with document management to improve performance and bring about organisational change,'' he added.
The broadcast, entitled "Re-engineering with document management: build your business case'', gets underway at 3 p.m. with registration at 2:30 p.m. and there is a fee.
Those attending will hear from Mr. David Black, Mentis Research, Mr. Tom Koulopoulos, Delphi Consulting Group, Mr. Barry Lurie, Unisys Corporation, Mr.
Addie Mattox, The Mattox Group, Mr. Thorton May, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Mr. Bob Williams Cohasset & Associates.
"The presentation will give a view of business re-engineering through document management...and through pre-taped role plays, you will see how to sell your case to management,'' added Mr. Darrell.
AIIM's first broadcast was held last October and covered legal requirements for electronic imaging. Over 300 sites in North America received the programme with about 5,000 attending at various locations.
"AIIM's goal is to promote and advance the development and use of systems, services and technologies that store, retrieve, integrate and manage images of documents,'' according to the company.
