easily won the Maple Leaf 10-K in Somerset yesterday.

Winner of the Evian 10-Mile Road Race the previous Sunday when he beat Tracy Wright into second place, Smith again led his rival Wright home to the tape -- winning more convincingly this time though.

Smith covered the distance in 32:30, well ahead of Wright who followed home in 34:21 while Colin Scott was third in 34:32.

The others among the top 10 were Neil De Ste Croix, Kevin Tucker, Simon Moore, Jeremy Ball, Eddie Davies, George Sutherland and Larry Richardson.

Anna Eatherley was the top female runner, finishing in a time of 39:06 to place 29th overall. The second female was Annette Booth who was 57th overall with her time of 41:04.
