yesterday's FA Cup Final, are in jeopardy of having their professional dreams cut short after news of massive housecleaning at English Fourth Division club Northampton Town.

Northampton must come up with 350,000 in the next four months or risk being wound up as was the case with Aldershot a few weeks ago.

Drastic measures have already been taken as manager Theo Foley, nine players, the assistant manager and the youth team coach were sacked on Friday. Foley has been at the centre of talks for trials for the three Bermudians, national team captain Albert Smith of Boulevard included, but the latest developments must surely throw a spanner in the works.

However, it is believed that rival Fourth Division club Scarborough, could be interested if the July/August trials at Northampton fail to materialise.
