English born Pollock, of West Crescent, Warwick, was charged in connection with the death of a customer following an incident at the bar on July 18.

The 36-year-old was not required to answer the charges in Magistrates Court yesterday.

But his lawyer, Mark Pettingill, arranged a pre-trial review for October 28.

Mr. Pettingill said he would call an expert witness for the long-form preliminary inquiry.

The mother-of-one, of Olive Bark, Warwick, was said to have been "humiliated'' by her lawyer Alan Dunch.

He said she had repaid what she had stolen and had also suffered by losing her job.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis fined her $300 for each charge.
