An accused drug dealer had over $20,000 worth of drugs in his Warwick home when he was busted last July, a Police expert testified yesterday.

In the third day of the trial of Kimwande Shelly Walker, 29, Police Sgt. Hayden Smalls told the court that cocaine, crack, cannabis and ecstasy found at Walker?s residence on July 26, 2003 had a street value of $20,095.

The 199 tablets of ecstasy found alone could reach value of almost $12,000 ? with each tablet worth an estimated maximum $60, Sgt. Smalls said.

Sgt. Small?s evidence comes after two days of testimony from Prosecution witnesses, in which it was revealed that the Police officers who searched Walker?s home last July were executing a search warrant issued for an occupant of the residence named ?Biggs? ? not for Walker explicitly.

Police were acting on a tip that ecstasy was being kept at the home.

Walker has denied five counts of possession with intent to supply.

The court also heard yesterday, that Walker had a room-mate at the residence who Police were unsuccessful in tracking.

Sgt. Tracey Burgess said Walker gave Police the name ?Swain Trott? on the morning of his arrest, when he was asked who lived in the residence?s second bedroom. ?But he hasn?t been here for nine months,? Walker said at that time.

When Sgt. Burgess attempted to locate named Swain Trott, she said she came up empty handed, despite using all means available to her ? Government?s voter registration, Police networking and a Police file search.

But the owner of Walker?s two-bedroom apartment, Egbert Sheperd, testified yesterday that he knew Swain Trott and Trott had in fact rented the apartment from him once he terminated Walker?s rental agreement.

In other testimony, Government Analyst Nadine Smith told the court that the drugs found in Walker?s home totalled 31.52 grams of crack, 40.92 grams of cannabis, 11.02 grams of cocaine, 1.85 grams of powdered ecstasy and 199 tablets of ecstasy.

The trial continues today before Acting Supreme Court Justice Archibald Warner.
