Captive Resources, Inc. The company provides services to member owned group captive insurance companies.

Captive Resources has long-term contracts with 20 captives. The company is based in Schaumburg, Illinois and has 50 employees and revenues last year of about $8 million. President George Rusu and chairman Karl von Heimburg will remain in place following the acquistion.

"The acquisition of Captive Resources will further enhance Mutual Risk's corporate risk management business segment following our recent acquisition of The International Advisory Services Group,'' management stated in a press release. "We have known and respected Captive Resources for many years. They are one of the leaders in the design and amrketing of innovative group and association alternative market insurance programmes.'' The terms of the transaction was not announced. Mutual Risk provides risk management services and financial services to offshore mutual funds.
