During the third quarter of this year, 292 exempted companies were registered in Bermuda versus 255 companies registered the same time last year.

And there were 38 local companies registered -- up almost 36 percent from last year's figure of 28 local companies registered during the third quarter. There were 18 exempted Partnership businesses registered as well as 13 non-resident businesses.
