early hours of Thursday in a hunt for the murderer of Glen Wolffe.

Mr. Wolffe, who was discovered last Wednesday after being brutally slain in his Sandys home, was a known homosexual who used to visit the Reid Street bar.

Studio 55 owner John Kiernan refused to speculate on what Police were looking for during the raid at 1.15 a.m. No arrests were made during the swoop.

And Mr. Kiernan denied claims on last night's ZBM news that Police shut down the venue under the Liquor Licensing Act.

He said: "We were not in violation of the Act. We closed for the night because the raid took all the air out of the party.'' He said the club wanted a meeting with Police.
