for a couple who were at the scene of the crash to come forward.

Mr. Campbell, 32, ploughed into a fire hydrant at Clearwater Beach, St.

David's, in the early hours of Sunday. The accident was reported shortly before 1 a.m.

Mr. Campbell, of Traveller's Lane, Pembroke, was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital but was declared dead at 1.55 a.m.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly a man and a woman who were in what is believed to be a beige car who were at the scene when Police arrived.

The man, who is described as dark-skinned and in his early to mid forties, and the woman, were standing near the ambulance team which was treating Mr.

Campbell.

Police hope the couple and anyone who witnessed the accident or has information will call P.c. Wesley Watson on 297-1122.
