The only turn-out figure that would be released was the over-all figure of 58.8 percent, Mr. Dowling said.

The Progressive Labour Party had asked its supporters to boycott the referendum. The constituency figures would allow a comparison of how turn-outs in PLP strongholds and United Bermuda Party strongholds compared.
