Bermuda 9% notes -- which are not a compnent of the exchange index -- recorded an increase, gaining 12.5 cents to close at $107.625 on volume of 385,000 notes.

Bank of Butterfield shares were unchanged at $29 on volume of 800 shares.

Belco was unchanged at $20 with volume of 2002 shares.
