Bank to hold officers meeting
Southampton Princess Hotel tomorrow for a full day of seminars and workshops.
The annual offers officers an opportunity to share expertise gained through bank operations around the world as the bank seeks better ways to service its customers.
President Mr. Charles Vaughan-Johnson said: "Our objective is for our officers to think not only as banking executives, but as customer executives.'' Mr. Alan Richardson, senior vice president, retail banking, said: "The bank has set a very aggressive plan for 1995 in terms of new service offerings and new strategies for working more closely with our customers. The relationships we forge with our clients today will determine our continued success in the future.'' The bank's domestic operations have recently been reorganised to allow managers to focus more closely on meeting customer needs.
The bank has also been expanding its automatic teller machine (ATM) network to allow customers to bank with more convenience. Bank officers are also to preview new domestic services scheduled to be rolled out within the next few months.
