First Christmas for baby Kyle Under-18 third place Robyne Skinner
WAH! wah! Where are those people? They say they're my parents but I'm not so sure. Are they trying to starve me? WAH, wah.
"Merry Christmas, Kyle! Are you hungry?'' Wild guess, woman. I think she's finally catching on. Oh Boy, here comes the man that says he's my dad.
"Merry Christmas, sport!'' Going up! Hey watch the first step. Hey, slow down you've got a valuable in your hands. What's with the tree and what are those flashing lights? Probably another one of their traditions! Are you going to feed me this year? It's so hard to get good help these days.
What are you doing? I'm not finished eating.
Those blinking lights on the Christmas tree are starting to annoy me.
"It's Kyle's first Christmas. Quick get the video camera, Charles.'' He's going to come after me with that thing again. Who are the presents for? All I want is the shiny paper.
"Smile, Kyle. How about the paper, you like the paper don't you? Go go ga ga.'' These people are simpletons. I think I'll run away and live with the animals in Toys `n' Stuff. My parents seem to be having a lot of fun, it must be some kind of `relive your youth' exercise. Hey, I can handle this. All you have to do is rip the paper off. Hey, this is fun! Darn there aren't any more gifts to open.
"Bath time!'' I'm sure there were some more presents to open somewhere. She's picking me up.
Now there's no escape.
"Knock, knock.'' "Mom, Merry Christmas!'' "Merry Christmas, Dear, where's my little grandson?'' Right here. Grandma! Watch the cheeks. Watch the cheeks! Hey, I'm not supposed to wear lipstick, I'm a boy. Hi, grandpa! They have more presents. I'm starving, aah, dinner. It's smells sooo good.
"Let's go sit in the living room, Mom and dad and exchange presents''.
"Splendid idea''.
Don't forget me. I hope they bought something good for me.
"Here's your present, Kylly''.
Thank-you, grandma and Grandpa. OH boy, just what I wanted, a stuffed animal.
I'm going to take him to my room. Bye, everybody. Say bye, bear.
crawling is really hard on the knees. My room, finally. Where am I going to put you, bear? Hmmm...On the bed.
"Crash'' "These are great presents, Mom and Dad Kyle, did you like your present? Kyle? Charles, have you seen Kyle?'' "No I haven't, where could he have gone?'' "Crash'' "Oh no, that came from his bedroom'' Wah! Wah! I can't find my way out. Where are your parents when you need them? It's that bear's fault I'm stuck in here on Christmas.
"Kyle, are you OK? The door must have slammed and trapped him.'' Mommy, Mommy, I was so frightened. Daddy, don't worry, I handled the situation like a man.
"Kyle, you scared me, don't ever leave our sight again. What a Christmas! I say we go and eat Christmas dinner. What do you think, Kyle?'' Sounds good to me. So maybe they aren't trying to starve me! UNDER-18 THIRD PLACE -- Robyn Skinner.
