Chance for local songwriters
Los Angeles, is arriving on the Island this week to scout local songwriting talent.
Director of Artist and Repertoire Marketing at Epic, Mr. Ted Lowe will be searching for urban and pop style songs at a "Pitch-a-Thon'' held by the Bermuda Songwriters Association at the Hamilton Princess on Saturday.
Mr. Lowe, who has worked with groups such as Chaka Khan, Ray Charles and Take 6 will be listening to cassette tapes submitted by local songwriters.
The Pitch-A-Thon will begin from 6 p.m. at the Hamilton Princess Hotel.
Admission is free for Bermuda Songwriters Association Members with a tape submission fee of $5. Non-members must pay $50 and a tape submission fee $10.
The Bermuda Songwriters' Association is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to advance creative songwriting and talent discovery opportunities for Bermuda Songwriters.
