Mr. Mahy was educated at the Royal Air Force College in Aerospace Engineering, at Halton, Buckinghamshire, England.

After leaving the RAF, he entered the offshore trust industry in Guernsey, which included a spell with Hambros bank.

In 1986, he came to Bermuda with the Bank of Bermuda in its private trust/private banking department.

For the past two years, he has been trust manager at Bermuda Commercial Bank.
