The incident was alleged to have occurred early Wednesday morning after the suspect went to the complainant's St. George's residence around 2 a.m.

The intruder, who was known to the victim, allegedly forced his way into her house and threatened her with a knife before sexually assaulting her.

He did not leave the residence until 7.30 a.m. The victim reported the incident after running to get help.
