The Royal Gazette , officially launched its new $1.5 million printing press yesterday. The five colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 printing press has cut down preparation time by two-thirds, general manager Paget Wharton said.

The machine replaces one that's been operating for 11 years and is being used to print annual reports, magazines, and brochures. The press gives the company the ability to print using a water-based coating, which gives a more glossy print.
