for rent the same day they are released by suppliers, according to one of the owners.

Mrs. Norma Cross said because of an arrangement with suppliers, movies will arrive at the business before their official release date so the owners can have them ready to rent.

The business, which opened on Wednesday, operated primarily by Mrs. Cross and Mrs. Jan Hollis, includes videos, audio books, Sega and Super Nintendo, as well as CDI and CD ROM. All the items are for rent and for sale.

"We had not planned to open until next week but when we took the paper off the windows, people wanted to come in and once we started business we could not close the doors,'' said Mrs. Cross.

A grand opening is expected soon, she continued.

Mrs. Cross said they did market research on huge movie renter Blockbuster.

There is no membership fee at Leisure Time but a credit card number will be taken with the membership application for protection. There is, however, a fee associated with membership if the applicant does not have a credit card.

Parents can also restrict the categories of movies their children are permitted to rent.

NEW RELEASE -- A new business, Leisure Time Video on Queen Street, opened on Wednesday. It will be primarily operated by Mrs. Norma Cross, left, and Mrs.
