armed robbery could provide valuable clues as to who committed the crime.
Det. Insp. Legay Farley, who is heading the investigation into the February 3 incident, yesterday appealed for help in finding the owner of a "claw'' hammer with a 13-inch wooden shaft, of fairly old design and with the serial number 171-3 inscribed on the head.
Found by Police, it was well-used and encrusted with cement and white paint.
Det. Insp. Farley believed it was stolen from a construction site or used for such purposes.
Anyone who might have had tools stolen recently is asked to contact Police.
