A couple staying in a Sandys hotel reported that their diving equipment went missing sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

The equipment, which included an underwater camera, a diving mask with snorkel and a scuba knife were removed from a porch which led to the couple's room.

And yesterday morning, a guest staying at a Hamilton Parish guest house reported to Police that her room was entered overnight on Wednesday.

The culprit entered her room at about 3.30 a.m. and woke the woman, who saw him standing at the foot of her bed.

When he realised that he had been spotted, he quickly fled through an unsecured sliding glass door.
