The Bermuda Stock Exchange moved up for the second straight day yesterday, with activity centred on the banking and utilities sectors.

The Exchange was up 3.09 points to 1171.03 on volume of 18,725 shares worth $586,890.
Bank of Buterfield shares gained 25 cents to close at $32.75 on volume of 13,188 while Bank of Bermuda was unchanged at $22.50 on volume of 3,105. Telco regained 25 cents to close at $35 on volume of 2,432.
