Bermuda Stock Exchange Index down almost 12 points in active trading.

Butterfield's shares closed down 50 cents to $13 on volume of 2,876.

Bank of Bermuda warrants, traded for the second straight day, jumping 50 cents to close at $2.75 on volume of 11,000.

Trading cuanhed were: Bank of Bemruda, $19, 2,597 shares; Bank of Bermuda 9% notes, $104.25, 1,000; and BF&M, $6.75, $1,000.

The Index closed down 11.97 points at close at 1082.08. The total value of trading was $223,494.
