Bermudian lands job with World Bank

Mr. Nearon, 37, will be a fixed income trader in the World Bank's investment department. He will be managing funds which will eventually be used for lending to World Bank member countries.
Mr. Nearon, who holds Bermudian and US citizenship, joined Shell in 1990. He holds a degree in finance from Hampton University, Virginia, graduating in 1985.
He worked in the investment division of the Bermuda Commercial Bank, went for a stint to London to learn the trading business, then came back to join the Bank of Bermuda's treasury department for two years until Shell hired him.
