He claimed the Wednesday night report had stated Speciality Coffee, part-controlled by his wife, was incorporated last month to set up an Airport coffee concession. Mr. Furbert said he had pointed out the inaccuracy to VSB.

But when he heard the radio report he was "distraught'' the allegation had not been changed.

"What they said is not true....I regard that as trying to destroy my character. I will ask my lawyers to get a copy of the transcript.''
