session of the House of Assembly.

The debate, the last in the two-week series, will concentrate on the massive Health and Family Services' Ministry -- the biggest-spending area of Government.

The Ministry -- also responsible for the hot election issue of housing as well as Financial Assistance -- aims to spend more than $107m this year -- in excess of $11m more (12 percent) than the previous estimate. MPs will also discuss a bid to abolish annual Parliamentary registration -- a pledge in last year's PLP election platform.

The proposed law would end annual form-filling and the adoption of an automatic system using existing computer records.

And the first step towards appointing a political Attorney General will also be taken with a law aiming to substitute a Director of Public Prosecutions for the AG in a variety of laws.
