Police prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor said on Wednesday that Robin N. Delorenzo, a manager for Lucent Technology in New Jersey, was searched by Customs on Monday at 11.30 a.m. in Hamilton.

The officers found a plastic bag of plant material in Delorenzo's purse. It was later analysed as 3.9 grams of cannabis.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis ordered Delorenzo to pay a $400 fine.
