Caribbean Union of Teachers next month.

Some 100 delegates -- from countries throughout the Caribbean are expected to attend.

Proceedings will begin on August 2 with an opening ceremony at Warwick Camp.

Premier Pamela Gordon and officials from the Education Ministry are expected to attend the ceremony.

Participants in the conference will also be hosted by the Premier at Camden and by the West Indian Association during their four-day visit.

The conference, last held in Dominica in the summer of 1995, is scheduled to end on August 6.

Delegates are coming from Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Kitt's, Nevis, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Montserrat, Dominica, Martinique and Jamaica.
