The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell .44 points to 1070.24. Of five issues traded, just two recorded price changes.

Belco -- which has active all week -- lost 12.5 cents gained on Wednesday to close at $18.875 on volume of 10,000 shares in the day's heaviest trade.

Commercial Bank gained 12.5 cents to close at $10.125 on 100 volume.

Trading unchanged were: Argus, $10, 1000 shares; Bank of Bermuda, $19, 2391; and Bank of Butterfield, $32, 1000.
