And of the 392 reported cases, 13 were recorded during the first six months of this year.

Of the seven AIDS-related deaths, four were males and three were females and six were black and one white.

The majority, or seven, of 13 cases detected this year were between the ages of 40 and 49 years old.

Six contracted the AIDS virus through intravenous drug use, four through heterosexual activity, one homosexual, and one bisexual.

Heterosexuals accounted for three of the deaths this year, intravenous drug users another three, and one was bisexual.
