According to the Workers Voice, Graham Nesbitt, president of the Works, Engineering and Housing Division of the Bermuda Industrial Union, addressed the Commission on Sustainable Development.

Mr. Nesbitt's topic "Windows of Opportunity in Tourism'' reportedly discussed the BIU education programme and how it related to Bermuda's tourism industry.

He also spoke of factors affecting the industry and cruise ship policy developments.

The two-week UN workshop focused on environmental issues, fishing, flags of convenience ships, and natural disasters.
