KFC has joined forces with the United Nations World Food Programme in a bid to help ease world hunger.
The Bermuda franchise will be collecting cash donations during World Hunger Relief Week along with 500 other KFC restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean. World Hunger Relief Week takes place from October 14 to October 27 and this is the first time KFC has participated in the event.
All the funds raised will go directly to the World Food Programme, the world's leading humanitarian agency which helps feed 90 million people, including 58 million hungry children, in 80 of the world's poorest communities.
