House sends condolences
received expressions of sympathy from MPs in the House of Assembly on Friday.
Works & Enginering Minister Leonard Gibbons described the accident as "tragic''.
"It has shaken everyone in the Ministry and revitalised our efforts for safety in the workplace,'' Mr. Gibbons said of the death of Mr. Teddy Sewell, 39.
Condolences were also expressed to a number of former and present Parliamentarians, including Mr. David Allen MP, whose mother Mrs. Sadie Allen died during the summer; Mr. Stanley Lowe MP, whose brother Mr. Willard Lowe passed away; and former Cabinet Minister Mr. Ralph Marshall, whose daughter Ms Marsha Jane Marshall, died.
MPs also sent condolences to the families of the following people who died over the summer: Mrs. Eugenie Vivian Brown; Mrs. Carol Burgess of Hamilton Parish; long-time civil servant Mr. Boyson Christopher; actor/hotelier Mr.

Manders of Hamilton Parish; union "pillar'' Mr. Joseph Mills; Mr. Rogers Outerbridge, a "fine man and great golfer''; and Bassist and well-known taxi driver Mr. Vernon Eugene Raynor; Mr. Graham Steede of St. George's; Mr. Arnold Bernell Trott of Hamilton Parish, a long-time skycap; Mr. Tommy Joseph Hilgrove Tucker, who "we all knew by his bicycle and by his dog''; real estate agent Ms Gloria Stovell Williams; and Mrs. Helena T.
