Butterfield Bank enjoyed a good day's trading on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index yesterday.

The bank saw their share price rise by 25 cents (0.4 percent) to close at $63, with 200 shares changing hands.

The Index as a whole increased to finish on 5,303.29, up 33.81 points (0.64 percent), with a turnover of $12,600.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, went into reverse, losing 0.68 percent to close at 1,189.77.
