The former Director of Civil Aviation has been appointed Acting Director of Tourism.

Ian MacIntyre, formerly of L.F. Wade International Airport, takes up the post on Monday while Government recruits a more permanent Director.

The Department of Tourism has also announced the return of Jasmin Smith as Assistant Director of Tourism. Mrs. Smith has served as Acting Director of Tourism since May and will return to her role in Regulatory Administration, responsible for hotel licensing, development and renovations.

Meanwhile, Emily-Gail Dill takes up the position of Acting Director of Sales and Marketing at the New York office. Ms Dill formally worked on special projects in the New York office and will temporarily take the place of Glenn Bean, who resigned as Director of Sales and Marketing late last year.
