the top of the Commercial Division Group B on Saturday.

The west-enders defeated Coca-Cola 3-2 while St. George's were suffering an 8-2 humiliation at the hands of North Village Rams.

Scoring for Extros were Donnie Simmons (two) and Arthur Tucker (penalty).

Horace Simons and Millard Rawlins replied for Coke.

Meanwhile, Dexter Gibbons led the scoring chase for Rams, finding the net three times and was aided by Gino Phipps (two), Kevin Bean-Walls and Sheridan Smith. Ritchie Foggo and John Tucker notched consolation efforts for St.

George's.

Exiles recorded their first win of the season, a 3-0 thumping of bottom team Prison Officers. Chris Cook, Marvin Hassan and Alan Johnson were the sharpshooters for the victors.

Spinning Wheel put up a tremendous battle against Group A leaders BAA Wanderers but eventually succumbed 2-1 as a late own goal by Chris Furbert settled the issue in Wanderers' favour.

Earlier Steve Irvine had given Wanderers a 1-0 half-time lead only to have Ed Swan equalise after the break.

Another squeaker saw Lobster Pot edge Forties 1-0 in dramatic fashion.

With the final seconds ticking away Pot striker David Marchant nipped behind the opposition defence and score with literally the last kick of the game.

Spurred on by the midweek scare given Southampton Rangers in the FA Cup, Fire Service marched to a 2-0 win against KPMG Peat Marwick. Wendell Simmons and Roger Dill accounted for the scoring.

With Dandy Town idle, PHC zoomed to the head of the standings in the Alliance Division Group A, thrashing a hapless St. George's outfit 6-0.

Mark Smith found the range twice while team-mates Sachi Govia, Blain Tucker, Dana Rawlins and Caisey Burgess each had one goal apiece.

Somerset kept up their charge in beating Boulevard 3-1. Lamaul Crofton, Amal Thomas and Gary Benjamin each tallied for Somerset while Vernon Eve had the lone Boulevard goal.

The other Group A match saw Devonshire Cougars demolish North Village 4-0.

The story in Group B continues to be Devonshire Colts as they took their goal-scoring act on the road against BAA, whom they beat 7-3 with only 10 men and after starting out with just eight.

At one stage the score stood tied at 3-3 before a barrage of goals sent the visitors on to their fourth win without a loss.

Theron Smith led the scoring with four while Leonard Hypolite (two) and Vaughn Smith accounted for the remainder of Colts' goals. Alan Bean, Will Carpenter and Gary Flood (penalty) scored for the Green Knights.

Port Royal and Prospect similarly engaged in a goal feast that had the former finally emerge with a 5-4 triumph. Erskine Smith, Jason Ming and Don DeSilva (two) were the marksmen for Prospect.

The day's remaining fixture involved Hamilton Parish and St. David's and a hat-trick by Sinclair Gibbons together with a single strike by Glenn Smith gave Parish a comfortable 4-0 win.

DONNIE SIMMONS -- Two goals for Somerset Extros.
