Catastrophe Protection conference tomorrow at the Princess Hotel.

The two-day conference kicks off with an opening address by Tom Heise, president of the fledgling Bermuda Commodities Exchange.

The conference will focus on the theme of using securitisation to enhance capacity. Richard Sandor, president of Hedge Financial will give an overview of insurance derivatives tomorrow.

Mr. Heise and Indexco chief executive officer Bruce Thomas will brief delegates on the Guy Carpenter Catastrophe Index used by the Bermuda Commodities Exchange.
