Bermuda golfer Michael Sims shot three-over par 74 in his first round of the $500,000 Northeast Pennsylvania Classic of the Nationwide Tour.

Sims, who is tied in 126th position in the 156-man field, shot two birdies, 12 pars, three bogeys, and one double bogey. His two birdies came on the back nine - with the first coming on the par five tenth, while the second birdie of the day came on the par five 14th. His double bogey came on the par four 17th hole.
