St. George's man robbed
A St. George's man was the victim of robbery early yesterday morning.
The 38-year-old man told Police he was walking to his home on Coot Pond Road at 12.20 a.m. when he was approached by a group of young men at the junction of Park Road and Government Hill.
Some of them men had bladed weapons and demanded cash. A struggle began but the suspects managed to take a quantity of cash and a gold chain with a "B" pendant before successfully making their escape.
The victim suffered a cut to the left side of his chin. He described the suspects as ten black males wearing black clothing.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident or anyone with information to contact the St. George's Criminal Investigation Unit at 293-2222 as investigations are underway.
