A St. George's man was charged yesterday in Magistrates' Court with intending to cause grievous bodily harm.

Lionel Thomas, 23, of Cove Valley Road, was not required to enter a plea because the matter will be heard in Supreme Court. He is accused of unlawfully wounding Carlos Jones with the intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Thomas was bailed in the amount of $5,000 with one like surety to return to court for mention on August 24.
