Gladys Knight to–visit Bermuda

Soul siren Gladys Knight is to fan the flames of love at the third Annual Bermuda International Love Festival.

The Grammy Award winner is to serenade guests at the Sweetheart's Ball at the Fairmont Southampton on February 17.

Knight, from Atlanta is best known for her Motown and Buddah Records hits with Gladys Knight & the Pips, but she is also an acclaimed actress and solo artiste. She has recorded with fellow stars such as Johnny Mathis, Dionne Warwick and Stevie Wonder and also recorded the title track for the James Bond film 'Licence To Kill' in 1989. She currently directs the Grammy-Award winning choir Saints Unified Voices.

The Sweethearts' Ball is just one of a series of attractions at the Fairmont Southampton during February 15-18, aimed at increasing couples' attraction.

Hosted by Premier Dr. Ewart Brown and his wife Wanda Henton Brown, the event is a 'celebration of love' and also features a performance by Grammy Award-winning R&B/jazz singer Regina Belle, of New Jersey.
