Arrests made after chase
A high-speed Police chase along Parsons Road in Devonshire resulted in a car flipping over with another, taking on minor damage.
At 3.50 p.m., officers were pursuing a white Skoda car that was travelling east, when the driver of the Skoda collided with a grey car travelling in the same direction.
This resulted in the grey car flipping over. The driver of the white car then drove approximately 100 meters before he and his passenger escaped on foot, Police said.
However, they were subsequently apprehended by officers in the area before being arrested and detained.
The occupants in the car that took on minor damage, a mother and infant, were not hurt, however.
The two people in the grey car were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and were being treated for what Police believed to be minor injuries.
Inquiries into this incident on Thursday are underway.
