Bermuda's new Governor, Sir Richard Gozney and Lady Gozney will arrive in Bermuda next Tuesday.

Sir Richard is due to arrive on a British Airways flight from London and a "small and informal" reception is planned at the Airport, a Government spokeswoman said.

Sir Richard will be sworn in on Wednesday in the grounds of the Cabinet Building on Front Street at 11.30 a.m.

The media and members of the public will be allowed to witness the Swearing-In Ceremony.

The ceremony will involve invited dignitaries as well as the Bermuda Regiment Guard of Honour.

Sir Richard, a career diplomat who was previously British High Commissioner to Nigeria, succeeds Sir John Vereker, who retired in October after five years in the post.
