Nature walk for children today

The Bermuda National Trust is putting on its annual Children's Nature Walk this Tuesday.Parents and children can have a guided tour of Spittal Pond on February 12 from 9.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m.Covering 64 acres, Spittal Pond is home to an amazing variety of birds, especially during the migration seasons. It is Bermuda's largest bird sanctuary.

Parents and children can have a guided tour of Spittal Pond on February 12 from 9.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m.

Covering 64 acres, Spittal Pond is home to an amazing variety of birds, especially during the migration seasons. It is Bermuda's largest bird sanctuary.

Groups will leave every 15 minutes from the eastern parking lot tomorrow. Parents are advised that it is not a suitable walk for children under five or in strollers.

To reserve spots for a group of children call Nicola O'Leary at 236-6483. Parking is available behind Harrington Hundreds Grocery Store.
