CellularOne wishes to notify the public of a deadline extension for original music submissions as part of the company's Mobile Movement Tour offered in partnership with Swagger Wireless.

"In order to give Bermuda's aspiring artists additional opportunity to submit original music for the chance to be named one of 15 finalists in a live concert event at the end of the month, CellularOne has extended the deadline for entries until 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 16," Michael Leverock, CellularOne COO, said in a press release.

"A panel of industry experts as well as CellularOne and Swagger Wireless personnel will then determine those finalists who will compete in a live competition at Snorkel Park on August 31."

Mr. Leverock encouraged talented musicians 18 years and older to submit original music in CD format to CellularOne's corporate offices on Reid Street as soon as possible to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their music and gain international exposure through ring tone, screensaver, wallpaper and MP3 sales.
