One week on from the discovery of a letter to the Premier containing a bullet, Police yesterday refused to give an update on their inquiries.
The Royal Gazette reported last week that security had been stepped up around Ewart Brown after postal workers intercepted the mailing last Monday, which included a threatening letter.
Police Commissioner George Jackson and Minister of Public Safety David Burch held a joint press conference last Tuesday revealing that a threat had been leveled at Dr. Brown in a package originating locally.
This newspaper has contacted the Police daily basis since the announcement for an update.
However, a spokesman would only say yesterday: "The investigation continues."
