A drop in the share price of Butterfield Bank sent the royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index down 13.32 points in light trading yesterday.

The Index closed down 13.32 points at 4,866.53 as just 940 shares — all Butterfield Bank — worth $53,035 changed hands.

Butterfield Bank closed down 25 cents to $56.25.
