<Bz26>BSX falls 17.29 points
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index retreated yesterday as drops in three companies offset a rise in Butterfield Bank's share price.
The Index closed down 17.29 points at 4,916.98 on continued light volume of 3,957 shares worth $82,573.50.
Argus fell 75 cents to close at $13 on volume of 583 shares while LOM Holdings Ltd. dropped 20 cents to $2.80 on volume of 1,100 shares.
Also falling was Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd, which was off 25 cents to close at $6.25 as 240 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank closed up 25 cents at $56.75 on volume of 973.
Trading unchanged were Royal Gazette owner Bermuda Press (Holdings) at $14.50 on volume of 1,000 shares, BF&M Ltd. at $17.75 on volume of just 60 shares and Watlington Waterworks, where a single share traded for $14.
The Bermuda Insurance Index rebounded, rising 1.28 points top close at 1225.9.
