Due to a BPSU general membership meeting at 4.30 p.m. today, some Government services will be delayed as civil servants attend the meeting.

All departments will remain open until 5 p.m. but there may be some delays in the late afternoon in some departments.

Government apologises to the public for any inconvenience the staff shortage may cause.

Offices will reopen as usual on Wednesday morning.

26 accidents over the weekend

Over the weekend, two people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and there were eight reported burglaries.

There were 19 reported damage only road traffic collisions, seven reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and one vehicle reported stolen.

Police make witness appeal over fighting

The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for witnesses for the incident that took place over the weekend at Devonshire Recreation Club.

A group of youth armed with bladed articles attended a Bermuda Football Association game but escaped on foot.
